The photos below were taken on October 23, 2002, in Bedford, NH By an amazing coincidence, it also snowed unexpectedly on October 23, 2003, though it didn't stick because the ground and air were much warmer.
THEN, on October 30, 2011, a powerful storm dumped snow over most of the Northeast. The heavy, wet snow on trees that still had their leaves, combined with high winds to cause over a million households to lose power. I took only a few pictures out of the windows. I'll put them up later.
